Today's top ten Tuesday prompt from the Broke and Bookish is ten bookish settings I'd like to visit.
Where would I like to visit?
There are so many fictional and real settings that come alive through the pages of a book
Willow Lake from Journey to Jake Palmer by James L. Rubart
Prague from Firstborn by Tosca Lee
Mitchell's Crossroads from Charming the Troublemaker by Pepper Basham
Sun Valley, Idaho from Sisters by Kellie Coates Gilbert
Belle Meade Plantation from To Wager Her Heart by Tamera Alexander
Victorian London from A Lady in Disguise by Sandra Byrd
Berkhamsted Castle from The Silent Song Bird by Melanie Dickerson
Merryweather from True to You by Becky Wade
Virginia City from For Love of Liberty by Julie Lessman
Tall Acre from The Mistress of Tall Acre by Laura Frantz
Ca’D’Zan the Ringling Brother's Mansion from The Ringmaster's Wife by Kristy Cambron
Would you like to travel to any of my bookish settings? If so which one. Let me know where you'd like to go visit in the comments!

Thanks, girlfriend, for including Virginia City! It was definitely something in its heyday, although it has quieted down considerably today. HA! Probably because Liberty isn't there! ;)
HUGS!!

Prince Edward Island! It’s on my bucket list!
Oh fun!!! Thanks, Andi!! I want to go live at Mitchell's Crossroads and work at Blue Ridge University ;-)
It’s probably a lot quieter without Liberty there! Lol
She makes it loads of fun!!
I’d love to visit PEI! Fell in love with it in Anne of Green Gables.
We’ll both live in Mitchell’s Crossroads and I’ll attend Blue Ridge University and you can work there. :)
I would love to visit Victorian London - and bring you along. For now, we'll do it in fiction. And maybe Afternoon Tea! ;)
I love that idea Sandra! A great Victorian London tale, yours of course, and a nice cup of tea. ❤️
I really want to go to England. It’s at the top of my travel list.
Aj @ Read All The Things!
I’ve been blessed to visit many places along our travels for my hubby’s work..one of my favorite places was Orchard House where Loissa May Alcott really lived. It was interesting to learn that she was a neighbor to many now historical places and homes not far from Boston. And it was fun to see the ‘drawings on the wall’ by her younger sister ‘Beth’ that are still there today. And to listen to the ‘stories’ about her rl family & some of the comparisons.
I also got to go to the ‘House of Green Gables’. Although the characters are fictional, the house that was inspiration for the stories does exist.
I’ve also been to a couple homes in Europe where famous authors grew up. Interesting historical facts there, but not as much fun as the ‘real houses in stories we’ve read has been my favorite.
Oh yeah, I’ve also been to Sherlock Holmes 221b Baker St. in London (which was NOT a real address, but so many fans asked about it, that they created a small shop/museum). It was after hours when we were there so we only got pics—didn’t get to ‘browse the shop’. AND, I stood on ‘Juliet’s Balcony’ where Romeo called her (also fictions place but made according to the story. My husband took my picture standing in the balcony. So much fun!

Hi Vicki!
Sounds like you've been able to do quite a bit of traveling. Because my ex-husband was in the Navy I was able to live in a few places most only dream about. Lived in Hawaii for four years. My parents have traveled to Europe. I'd like to spend a year in Bologna, Italy where my biological grt. grandparents came from.
Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you, Andi!!!
